Sadly, Marc's story ended on June 23, 2015 when he suddenly passed away. Photography, and making people beautiful, were the true passions of his life - this site stands as his legacy.  I will continue to maintain it and add to it with the help of Marc's family and friends who have stories to share.

You honor Marc with your visit. Please share with your friends to carry on his legacy. Should you wish to contact me, please use the Reach Me link above.

It's an understatement to say that Marc Raboy has lived a remarkable and fascinating life. He has photographed many of the world's most famous faces.  With his keen eye, remarkable sense of style, and uproarious sense of humor he has created some of the most iconic images over a twenty-five year period.

The first sentence of his high school biography states simply, "Above all - Marc was an entertainer !"

Born in Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan, Marc grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey. He graduated from The Horace Mann prep school in 1967, and went on to Illinois Institute of Technology, studying Design and Photography, and earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design. He returned to New York City in 1973, and after a very short stint as an actor, he catapulted his 25-year career to the top of his profession as a renowned freelance commercial photographer from his well-known studio in Chelsea. He specialized in entertainment photography, but was highly sought after in the fashion and beauty worlds as well.

Marc Raboy has photographed such luminaries as Lucille Ball, Liza Minnelli, Phyllis Diller, Harry Belafonte, Chita Rivera, Jason Robards, Connie Francis, Patti LaBelle, Rob Lowe, Sean Penn, Kevin Bacon, Phylicia Rashad, and Candice Bergen just to mention a few. Many of his iconic images are synonymous with the stars’ own legacies.

Marc lives in New York with his husband Keith Henry, and their adorable Westie, "Mamie."
